There are a lot of recipes available to help you make your own homemade colon cleanse. One such recipe for a 2-part cleansing drink is as follows: Part 1 requires 2 oz of freshly pressed apple juice (not concentrate), 8 oz spring water, 1 tablespoon Bentonite clay liquid, 1 level teaspoon Colofibre (available from various companies), and this must be mixed and imbibed quickly, since the mixture tends to thicken if left standing. This is to be followed immediately by Part 2, which comprises of 10 oz of spring water, 1 tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar, and 1 teaspoon of honey. Another sort of homemade colan cleanse is a cleansing diet. A sample diet may be as follows. Breakfast, should include reconstituted dried fruits such as apricots, peaches, figs, and prunes, along with fresh fruits, especially figs, and low fat, low salt cottage cheese. Lunch may consist of vegetable salad, baked potatoes, steamed vegetables, brown rice, millet, buckwheat, vegetable broth, corn on the cob, a slice of pumpernickel bread with avocado or cottage cheese, baked peppers, home made soup, and sprouted seeds, such as alfalfa. Dinner may have a large salad, steamed vegetables, small omelet, vegetable soup or broth, cottage cheese, and steamed or grilled fish.
